RO Reject Water Recycle
Reverse osmosis (RO) is a desalination process that removes salts and minerals from seawater or brackish water with a salinity of total dissolved solids (TDS) of ~1000–60,000 mg/L to produce clean water with less than 500 mg/L TDS . The RO process currently produces about 50% of the total desalinated water available worldwide and 20% in Saudi Arabia; however, it also yields a huge amount of further concentrated brines (or RO reject water) as a waste byproduct.
Jaazl has collaborated with Gradiant to bring the Technologies that will change the perception and make the improssible to a reality.
CFRO with CGE, Latest Technologies from Gradiant Corporation can Recover up to 99% final brine concentrations to the saturation limits of salt (TDS up to 260,000 mg/L NaCl). This reduces the required capacity of downstream ZLD systems with cost savings of 60% versus thermal systems.
